A new chapter for an iconic beach

Just a short distance from the center of Kavala, the historic Batis beach is being redefined through a radical renovation undertaken by NG2K Architects&Constructions. It is a holistic renovation that transforms the area into a modern destination of high aesthetic value for leisure and relaxation.

As part of the project, the “ELIA” restaurant, the main bar, and the pool bar “ILION” were completely redesigned to create a fresh and welcoming atmosphere. At the same time, the recreation areas, the camping multipurpose space, and all the indoor facilities of the complex were modernized, including the two indoor pools.

The upgrade also extended to the outdoor area, with the beach taking on a new form. Brand new wooden decks, stone walkways, new umbrellas, and seating were installed, while inflatable sea games were added for both children and adults. The beach volleyball and beach tennis courts were reconstructed, offering ideal conditions for sports activities by the sea.

Planting was enhanced with new plant structures, while all structural investments now convey a new, dynamic identity.
