Along the main road of Potamia in Thassos, a residential complex with a total gross area of 800 sq.m. is being developed, distinguished by its architectural ethos and its essential connection with the surrounding environment. Despite its location at a key point of the settlement, the project aims to harmonize with the landscape and the historical character of the area, offering a tranquil living experience that respects the natural and cultural memory of the place.

Particular emphasis was placed on preserving the existing centuries-old olive trees, which not only organize the outdoor space but also become a living element of the architectural composition. Their presence among the building volumes serves as a reminder of the timelessness of the landscape and enhances the experiential dimension of the design.

The morphology of the residences is based on clean geometries and gentle interventions, aiming to create a whole that breathes within its environment. Concrete, as the main structural element, works together with plaster coatings in earthy, discreet tones, creating a soft aesthetic palette. Glass, strategically integrated, allows light to penetrate deep into the interior, enhancing transparency and continuity between inside and outside.

The result is a complex of residences that combines contemporary aesthetics with respect for the natural environment, highlighting the qualities of the place not as a backdrop but as an integral part of the architectural experience.
